B2B and wholesale on Shopify, on any plan

Developpy sets up B2B and wholesale on Shopify for brands that sell to businesses: company accounts, price lists, catalogs and payment terms, with Shopify's native B2B on Plus or with apps on every other plan.

What a B2B setup includes

On any plan

Native Shopify B2B on Plus, or a B2B channel built with apps and customer groups on every other plan. On the same store, or on a separate one.

Company accounts

Buyer logins per company, with permissions, saved addresses and reorders from past orders.

Price lists and catalogs

A catalog per company or buyer group with its own prices, volume pricing and minimum quantities, so each buyer sees only their terms.

Payment terms and ordering rules

Net terms, deposits, quantity rules and order minimums, with the checkout adapted to business buyers.

Same store or separate B2B store

B2B on the retail store, with buyers signing in to see their terms, or a separate wholesale store when the catalog or the brand calls for it.

Registration and approval

A B2B registration form, an approval flow and onboarding emails, so new buyers get access without manual work.

ERP and price list sync

Prices, stock and orders synced with your ERP or management software, so B2B orders flow into the same back office.

B2B stores we have built

Oybò runs a full B2B system with price lists, SayPaper's redesign included B2B, Macelleria Callegari has a B2B area with dedicated prices, and Sensimilla's B2B channel runs on its own store.

How a B2B project runs

Typical duration
Set in the written scope
  1. Scope and data

Who your buyers are, which terms each company gets and which plan features you have.

  2. Build on a staging store

Companies, catalogs, price lists and the checkout rules built and tested with real company data.

  3. Pilot with a few buyers

A handful of wholesale customers order on the new setup before everyone moves.

  4. Launch

All buyers invited, your team trained on companies, catalogs and orders.

How we quote

Every project is quoted after a 15-minute call, on a written scope: what we move, what we build and what we check before launch. No hourly surprises.

Questions about B2B on Shopify

Do we need Shopify Plus for B2B?

Not necessarily. Shopify's native B2B features, such as company accounts, catalogs with their own prices and payment terms, are built for Shopify Plus. On every other plan we set up B2B with apps and customer groups. We check what your buyers need against your plan in the first call.

Can B2B and retail run on the same store?

Yes. Business customers sign in and see their catalog, prices and terms; everyone else sees the retail store. When the wholesale catalog or the brand calls for it, we build a separate B2B store instead.

Can each buyer see different prices?

Yes. Each company or buyer group gets its own catalog and price list, with volume pricing and minimums, and sees only its terms after signing in.

How long does a B2B setup take?

It depends on how many companies and price lists you have and on what syncs with your back office. You get a launch date in the written scope before work starts.
