Questions about Developpy Partners
What is a verified install?
A Universe purchase on the Shopify Theme Store that we confirm against our Theme Store sales records, from the Shopify invoice you upload. Only verified installs earn commission and count toward your tier.
How are installs tracked?
By invoice, not by link. The Shopify Theme Store does not pass referral identifiers on theme purchases, so you upload the Shopify invoice for each install from your partner dashboard within 30 days of its date, and we cross-check it with our Theme Store sales.
When and how do I get paid?
Once we approve an install, its commission becomes payable. We pay approved commissions via PayPal, in US dollars, to the PayPal email in your partner profile.
Do tiers expire or reset?
No. Tiers are based on lifetime verified installs and are permanent. There are no quotas and no monthly resets.
Who can join?
Agencies, design studios and freelance developers who build on Shopify and install or recommend Universe for their clients. We review every application.
