Caffè Moca: Magento 2 migration and redesign
We moved Caffè Moca, an Italian espresso roaster founded in 1949, from Magento 2 to Shopify, redesigned its store and keep working on it with ongoing support.

The brief
Caffè Moca has roasted espresso since 1949, long supplying the bars of Rome, and today sells online to home drinkers: capsules for Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, Lavazza Espresso Point and A Modo Mio machines, ESE pods, ground coffee and beans, soluble drinks and machines, in Italian, English and Chinese. On Magento 2, every change to a store like this runs through a platform the team has to host, patch and upgrade. The brief for a move like this: a store the team can run on its own, a catalog where each customer finds the coffee that fits their machine, and a partner who stays on after launch.
What we did
Migration from Magento 2
The store moved from Magento 2 to Shopify, with its catalog of capsules, pods, ground coffee, beans and machines.
Redesign
A new storefront for the brand, designed so a home drinker can go from the first screen to the coffee that fits their machine.
Ongoing support
Development on the live store as the range, the promotions and the markets change.
The result
Caffè Moca sells its espresso online on Shopify, with the team that moved it there still working on the store.
