The brief
La Biblioteca delle Emozioni is the project of an Italian influencer who sells stories written as letters: subscribers receive a new one at home every month. A store like this lives on its recurring customers, so the subscription has to be the obvious choice on the product page, and the site has to carry the tone of a handwritten letter, not of a generic catalog.
What we did
Redesign on Universe
The storefront redesigned on the Universe theme by Developpy, with an illustrated, editorial look that carries the tone of the letters.
Subscriptions
Appstle Subscriptions set up so the monthly letters, "Racconti in lettera", sell as a subscription next to a one-time purchase.
The result
La Biblioteca delle Emozioni sells its monthly letters as a subscription on a storefront built on Universe, with recurring billing handled on Shopify.
