Swimprove: WooCommerce migration and store build
We moved Swimprove, an Italian brand of swim gear for swimmers and triathletes, from WooCommerce to Shopify and built its new storefront at swimprove.shop.

Project summary
- Swimwear and swim gear
- WooCommerce to Shopify
The brief
Swimprove designs its own swim gear, from goggles, fins and paddles to swimsuits, training packs and video courses. On WooCommerce, a growing catalog means more plugins to keep updated, hosting to watch and a checkout the team maintains itself. The brief for a move like this: a store the brand can run on its own, a faster and cleaner shopping experience, and no lost rankings or customer history on the way.
What we did
Migration from WooCommerce
The store moved from WordPress and WooCommerce to Shopify at swimprove.shop.
Catalog and collections
Products and collections restructured for Shopify: sizes and colors on swimwear and apparel, training packs as their own products, video courses as digital products.
Customers and orders
Customer records and past orders imported into Shopify, so customer service and email marketing start from the full history, not from zero.
Redirects and SEO
Old product, category and page URLs mapped to their Shopify equivalents with 301 redirects, so existing rankings had somewhere to land.
Storefront build
Home, collection and product templates built on Shopify, with navigation by gear type, and UX choices shaped around swimmers and athletes.
The result
Swimprove runs its whole catalog, from goggles to video courses, on a faster, cleaner Shopify store built around how swimmers shop.
